When I get back from uni after a very long day the first thing I do is sit on my chair and take a deep breath in and out. It always helps me to just relax and calm me back down.

Year 2

King's College London

I like to sit on the chair and catch up with family and friends. I'm currently feeling very happy and calm with everything, I'm trying to not let uni get to me and my motivation is at an all time high so I'm going to make the most of it!

Year 3

Middlesex University

See my chair is very uncomfortable and small that's tucked away in the corner of my room. so I actually avoid sitting on my chair and usually use it to put all my laundry or university work. I have asked my accommodation for a new chair as it is broken too but they never got back to me.

Year 2

LSE University

My chair has so many things on it all the time that I don't think I remember the last time I sat on my chair. But when I do I'm usually on my phone probably on Tiktok, Twitter or Snapchat.

Year 1

Bristol University

When i come back from uni I usually sit down for a few mins to deep everything happening around me. I’m currently in third year but I don’t feel a part of the university community. I thought that would be a problem I had in first year not third.

Year 3

Northampton University

I remember when I submitted my first essay and I came back from the library and the first thing that I did when I got into my room was sit in my chair and just cry. It's so weird looking back now thinking why did I cry after submitting my first essay but I remember it was so many things happening all at once. I was stressed about the amount of work I had to do, I was trying to find my social bubble and people I could talk to, so I was really drained. so, since then every time I have something to celebrate I like to sit in my chair and reflect. I also started journaling my thoughts and feelings which has really helped me to process my emotions that I'm feeling throughout uni.

Year 1

Middlesex University

I like to just chill on my chair sometimes and relax, not do anything or think about anything. Even though there’s so much to do but I’m tired of stressing.

Year 1

Bristol University

I sat in my chair today and just took a deep breath. I got amazing results back from my essays and that has just made me feel so much more confident.

Year 2

Northampton University

I love sitting on my chair in my room. It's the one place where I can just kick back and chill. I usually sit before beginning my work, reflecting on my day and thinking about what I need to do.

I actually sit on my chair a lot when I think about it. Even though it's really uncomfortable, it's tucked away in the corner of my bedroom so I tend to sit when I want to be away from the rest of my bedroom.

When I get back from uni after a very long day the first thing I do is sit on my chair and take a deep breath in and out. It always helps me to just relax and calm me back down.

I usually sit on my chair when I'm just reflecting on everything happening around me. University sometimes really gets intense and I sometimes don't want to leave my room so I end up just staying inside and chilling on my chair on my phone, finding different ways I can be distracted.
